Membership
ILANZ provides numberous benefits to in-house lawyers at every stage of their career. ILANZ supports in-house lawyers with everything from practical education, professional networking opportunities and exciting events including the annual ILANZ conference.
To join ILANZ you need to hold a current practicing certificate as an in-house lawyer and be a member of the New Zealand Law Society
From 1 July 2024, the Law Society is introducing an membership subscription for the 2024/2025 membership year. Membership includes of a Section of your choice. To join ILANZ complete the pre-registration form for Law Society membership and select the option to join ILANZ. If you pre-register before 15 May, your membership subscription will be included in your renewal invoice in June. If you register later, you will be sent a separate invoice.

In-house Insider
The In-house Insider is a monthly e-newsletter that goes out to our members and subscribers on the second Tuesday of each month. In this e-newsletter you will be notified of upcoming events and CPD webinars; law reform; the ILANZ Awards and Conference; Valued Partner offerings and more. If you wish to advertise an event or in-house job, please view details here.
Networking
As part of the ILANZ membership you will be invited to local coffee catch-ups or after-work events. If you would like to mix and mingle with other in-house lawyers, visit our Satellite Network Events page to see if there is a "Satellite Networking" group in your area!
